Volubilis Ruins & Meknes
We visited the Romain ruins at Volubilis & the Imperial city of Meknes on our drive to Fes. Volubilis was one of the most remote cities in the Romain Empire. Originally a Berber settlement, it was developed by the Romains during the 1st century AD onward to the end of 3rd century. The ruins are well preserved, with the mosaics especially impressive.
