Mono Lake, March 19-26

I stopped at magical Mono Lake and its tufa formations three separate times during this trip -- on drives down and back, and with the workshop group. Unfortunately the weather was pretty crappy most of the time, with clouds causing many cold, dark & uncomfortable hours to be spent waiting for the stars to appear. Nonetheless, the lake's shoreline proved to be quite photogenic.
