Visit to Chez Mirabel, Northern Provence (September 20-27)

We thought that we should spend a week at our cosy Provençal house, Chez Mirabel, to recover from any jetlag before going on to Amsterdam and Africa. Fortunately all of us slept well and therefore we will able to have a very active week in Provence. In addition to introducing Marcia & Andy to our village and some of its inhabitants, we explored neighboring villages, went to markets at L'lsle sur la Sorgue and Vaison la Romaine, and had many wonderful homemade and restaurant meals. In fact, Marcia & Andy thought that the food was the highest highlight. Our Portland friends and co-owners, Dory & Steve, overlapped with us and it was great to spend time together enjoying rather than working on the house!
