Steens Mountain

It was hunting season so Martha & I stayed in three different places for our three nights in the Steens/Malheur area – Frenchglen Hotel, Diamond Hotel, and Steens Mountain Resort (we recommend the first two, especially Diamond Hotel). We spent one day driving the Steens Mountain Loop and caught the high aspens at peak color.
