Montana's Glacier National Park & Blackfoot River
I had signed up for two Marc Adamus photography 4-day workshops for the end of October in U.S. Glacier National Park. As usual, I was looking forward to exploring a locale through Marc's experienced eyes. And, unlike what I found in the Canadian parks to the north, Glacier's fall color was right on time. However, a very unusal weather system stayed stuck over northern Utah during the entire week, resulting in very thick clouds and little good light or interesting skies.
At the workshops' conclusion, I picked Martha up at the Missoula airport and we spent a delightful couple of days visiting Bend friends at their new ranch on the Blackfoot River. We then spent a few days driving through autumn colors in western Montana and Idaho back to Oregon.
