Steens Mountain Fall Color

Most years I visit Steens Mountain's aspen forest for their often amazing autumn color. It is always difficult to time the peak color, and I was hoping that it would align with the end of this trip...and it did! We spent one night on the mountain and spent the morning shooting the Fish Valley aspens. The foliage color was pretty good but the light was a bit too harsh. Oh well, it was still a wonderful visit to an absolutely amazing location!
