Sahara Desert

After our Berber lunch at Tata's Erg Chebbi house, we jumped into his 4x4 and drove to our next adventure – a camel ride on the Erg Chebbi dunes to overnight tent accommodations! On the way we visited a primitive coal mine and a nomadic sheepherder's tent for tea.

After our dunes adventure, we reunited with Brahim and walked a farming oasis next to the dunes and then explored market day in nearby Rissani. We heard how, years ago, he would ride their family donkey to this market.
