Salar de Uyuni

The Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt flats in the world – incredibly white salt about 70 miles wide, with a handful of "islands" poking up, and surrounded by large volcanoes. During the summer rainy season, the Salar is covered by a foot or so of water, but by April it is pretty much evaporated. As you will see below, we did find an area still submerged, giving us a fabulous "infinity pool".
