Thousand Island Lake, Ritter Range Backpacking Trip, July 2013
Our final camp was at Thousand Island Lake. Although heavily used due to its popularity on the John Muir Trail, it is still a magical spot. Of the three days spent here, two were filled with rain as moist "monsoon" air came up from Mexico. But it didn't stop us from exploring the area and provided some interesting skies.
