Every winter I anticipate the upcoming Spring and the arrival of wildflowers. This year, I was on high alert due to the amount and timing of the Fall & Winter rains in California, which hinted at excellent upcoming blooms down there. Then in late February reports started appearing of excellent blooms emerging in Death Valley. So off I went in Starr in early March!
