Bagan Temples

The Bagan plain is full of Buddhist temples, pagodas, and suptas for as far as the eye can see. And you are allowed to climb a few of the structures, which provides an amazing sunrise and sunset viewpoint. Another popular sunrise vantage is provided by hot air balloons. While we didn't partake, they provided wonderful photographic subjects themselves.

However I found the temple interiors to be the most remarkable -- they containing one or more Buddha figures and many are still vibrant places of worship. I found the most beautiful to be the very small Shin Pin Thet Taw Shae Temple found on our hotel's grounds. While it showed loving care as a daily place of worship, I had it to myself for hours.
