Last weekend I spent two days hiking in the Columbia Gorge. The wildflower reports had been excellent and I did see lots of flowers, but I didn’t find them either photogenic or able to be captured in driving rain. Therefore I “focused” on waterfall and creek shots. The first day was spent driving up to Dry Creek Falls, followed by hiking up Tanner Creek to Wahclella Falls, and then up McCord Creek to Elowah Falls (both in the driving rain). Sunday was spent hiking the Horsetails Falls, Ponytail Falls, Upper Oneonta Falls, and Triple Falls loop. I appreciated the much nicer weather, but not the crowds it brought out. Trip’s images can be found at: Columbia Gorge Gallery.
