This past winter, Lake O’Hara Lodge again offered us a summer stay in one of their lake cabins. Given how difficult it is to secure a reservation, and how much we enjoy staying there, we happily accepted. This year’s five night stay was in mid-July, only a few weeks after the winter’s heavy snow had melted. As a result, springtime was in full display, with flowers (& mosquitos), and the experience was again extraordinary. It wasn’t as spectacular as our 2024 Fall colors visit, but above last year’s excellent mid-summer stay. Our fingers remain crossed that we’re invited back next year.
