In mid-May I went on a 10 day photography and hiking trip to southern Utah. The trip was with my good friend, Bob, and included a visit to Canyonland Nat’l Park’s “Island in the Sky,” 5 days of backpacking into Cedar Mesa’s Grand Gulch to explore some of its hundreds of Anasazi (aka Ancestral Puebloian) ruins, and explorations of the San Rafael Reef.
